AJMAN, UAE – Ajman’s real estate sector recorded a major transaction valued at AED200 million ($54.5 million), marking the highest property deal registered during the day and highlighting continued investor activity across the emirate’s land and development market.

According to WAM, the transaction was recorded by the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department and involved a vacant land plot located in Al Zahia, Eastern Sector.

The site spans approximately 52,915.5 square metres and is designated for mixed residential and commercial use, reflecting growing investor interest in large-scale development opportunities within Ajman’s expanding urban districts.

Continued momentum across Ajman’s real estate market

The transaction underscores ongoing momentum in Ajman’s property sector, where increasing infrastructure development, strategic location advantages and relatively competitive pricing continue to attract both regional and international investors.

Mixed-use land plots remain particularly attractive as developers seek integrated projects capable of combining residential, commercial and lifestyle offerings within a single destination.

The Al Zahia area has emerged as one of Ajman’s notable development corridors, supported by improving connectivity and broader urban expansion initiatives taking place across the emirate.

Growing appeal of mixed-use developments

The deal also reflects broader market trends across the UAE, where mixed-use developments continue to gain importance amid evolving investor and end-user demand for integrated communities.

Large land transactions of this scale are increasingly viewed as indicators of long-term confidence in local real estate fundamentals and future population growth.

Ajman’s property market has continued to benefit from rising interest from investors seeking alternatives to larger neighbouring emirates, while still maintaining access to key commercial and residential hubs across the UAE.

Strategic growth and investor confidence

The emirate has witnessed steady growth in real estate activity over recent years, supported by infrastructure projects, regulatory improvements and expanding development opportunities across residential, hospitality and commercial sectors.

According to WAM, the latest transaction highlights the appeal of strategic areas to investors, supported by the emirate’s diverse real estate offering and continued market activity.

As Ajman continues to expand its urban landscape, large-scale land transactions are expected to play an important role in shaping future residential and commercial developments across key districts.
