Statistics released in the real estate report issued by the Ajman Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation revealed that 242 property valuation transactions were completed during January, with a total value of AED1.06 billion ($288.6 million).
Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Ajman Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, confirmed that the valuation activities covered commercial, residential and industrial properties. Commercial properties accounted for the largest share of the total valuation value at AED626.5 million ($170.6 million), ahead of residential properties which reached a total value of AED329 million ($89.6 million).
His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman. The data underscores the continued role of commercial real estate as a key driver of asset revaluation in the emirate, reflecting investor and institutional demand for income-generating properties and mixed-use developments.
The Director-General added that the January report included personal valuation transactions, court- and institutional-related valuations, as well as valuations linked to long-term Golden Residence permits for investors. These amounted to 167 transactions, with a total value exceeding AED303 million ($82.5 million).
The inclusion of Golden Residence-linked valuations highlights the growing integration of property ownership with long-term residency planning, reinforcing Ajman’s positioning as an accessible investment destination within the UAE’s broader real estate landscape.
As valuation activity remains diversified across asset classes, January’s figures point to sustained transactional momentum and administrative throughput within Ajman’s land and real estate regulatory framework.
