Abu Dhabi, UAE – September 2025 - The United Arab Emirates population climbed to 11.3 million in 2024, a 5.7% increase from the previous year, according to the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC). This rapid growth is fueling strong demand for housing, commercial spaces, and urban infrastructure across the country.
The UAE added 615,687 new residents in 2024, up from 10.68 million in 2023. Men accounted for 64% (7.23 million), while women made up 36% (4.05 million).

Abu Dhabi’s permanent resident population rose by 7.5%, reaching 4.14 million in 2024, up from 3.8 million in 2023, according to Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD).
