Sharjah, UAE: Sharjah’s real estate market recorded $626 million (AED2.3 billion) in transactions during the first two weeks of March, reflecting continued momentum across the emirate’s property sector.

According to Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the total transaction value was generated across 3,556 deals, highlighting sustained activity levels and consistent investor engagement.

Al Saleh noted that the figures demonstrate the strength and stability of Sharjah’s real estate market, supported by growing demand from both local and international investors seeking value-driven opportunities within the emirate.

The performance aligns with broader trends seen across the UAE, where secondary markets such as Sharjah are increasingly attracting attention due to competitive pricing, infrastructure development, and improved regulatory frameworks.

Digital services enhancing transaction efficiency

The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department continues to expand its digital service offerings, enabling investors and stakeholders to complete transactions efficiently through online platforms, in addition to its network of service centres across the emirate.

These initiatives are contributing to enhanced transparency, faster processing times, and a more accessible real estate ecosystem for buyers and investors.

Stable legislative framework supporting growth

Al Saleh attributed the market’s positive performance to the emirate’s stable legislative environment, which continues to strengthen investor confidence.

He highlighted the role of long-term strategic planning and governance, supported by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, alongside the continued oversight of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

This policy continuity has played a key role in positioning Sharjah as a reliable and increasingly attractive destination for real estate investment within the UAE.
