Rent-it has launched a digital rental marketplace in Bahrain aimed at simplifying residential leasing. Image: ShutterstockMANAMA, BAHRAIN – A new digital property marketplace aimed at modernising Bahrain’s rental sector has officially launched, introducing a platform designed to connect landlords and tenants directly while reducing reliance on traditional intermediaries.
Developed by Bespoke Marketing Group, the platform, named Rent-it, seeks to simplify the residential leasing process by removing broker commissions and reducing hidden fees often associated with conventional rental transactions.
The launch comes as digital transformation continues reshaping property markets across the Gulf region, with increasing demand for transparent, technology-driven leasing solutions that offer faster transactions and improved user experience.
Rent-it enables landlords and tenants to communicate directly through the platform, creating what the company describes as a more efficient and transparent leasing environment.
By eliminating traditional intermediary structures, the platform aims to reduce transaction friction while giving both property owners and renters greater control over the rental process.
Jitty Trehan, Chairman of Rent-it, said: “Finding a home or listing a property shouldn’t feel like a second job.
“Our mission is to cut through the noise of the traditional rental market. By providing a space for landlords to manage their own properties and for tenants to contact them directly, we are returning control and transparency to the community.”
The platform is accessible through Rentit-bh.com and has been developed to support Bahrain’s evolving property market and changing tenant expectations.
According to the company, Rent-it has been designed to simplify both listing and property search processes while improving communication between landlords and prospective tenants.
Karan Trehan, Chief Executive Officer of Rent-it, said: “Our aim is to make it easier, more transparent, and more human to list and browse properties with live availability, a solution for today’s and future markets.”
The platform allows property owners to upload listings in under six minutes while maintaining full control over pricing and rental income.
Landlords can also access dynamic pricing tools intended to help maximise occupancy and improve operational flexibility.
For tenants, the platform offers direct access to verified listings and enables immediate contact with landlords, helping users avoid traditional agency commissions and additional leasing fees.
Beyond property listings, Rent-it also incorporates a broader support ecosystem designed to assist users with moving, maintenance and property-related services.
The platform includes a curated directory of recommended service providers intended to support both landlords and tenants throughout the leasing lifecycle.
The launch reflects a wider regional trend toward proptech-enabled real estate services as property markets across the GCC increasingly adopt digital platforms to improve efficiency, transparency and customer experience.
The Gulf’s real estate sector has witnessed accelerating adoption of digital solutions in recent years, particularly across residential leasing, property management and transaction services.
Bahrain’s rental market continues to evolve alongside broader digitalisation efforts across the Kingdom’s economy, with technology platforms playing a growing role in modernising property-related services.
As consumer expectations continue shifting toward faster and more transparent digital experiences, platforms such as Rent-it are expected to contribute to the ongoing transformation of residential leasing across the region.
