The five-year agreement marks Parkin’s expansion into Abu Dhabi, covering DAMAC developments in prime locations across the UAE.Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Parkin Company PJSC, the provider of paid public parking services in Dubai, has signed a five-year strategic agreement with DAMAC Properties to manage and optimise approximately 3,600 parking spaces across the developer’s key projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The partnership represents a significant step in Parkin’s strategy to expand its footprint within the developer-managed parking segment, while also marking the company’s first entry into the Abu Dhabi parking market. Under the agreement, Parkin will apply its operational expertise and technology-led systems to improve traffic flow, enhance customer experience, and maximise parking efficiency across DAMAC’s residential, commercial and mixed-use assets.
As part of the agreement, Parkin will oversee around 500 on-street parking spaces within DAMAC Hills 1. In addition, the company will manage approximately 2,700 parking spaces across 44 residential and commercial towers located in prime districts including Downtown Dubai, DIFC, Dubai Marina and Business Bay, as well as Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.
The scope of services includes the delivery of both visitor and permit-based parking solutions designed to cater to short-term and long-term users across residential towers, office buildings and community retail centres. All managed locations will be fully integrated into the Parkin mobile application, enabling users to access, manage and pay for parking through a single digital platform.
Implementation of the agreement is scheduled to commence in Q1 2026. The rollout will involve the integration of Parkin’s advanced parking technologies with DAMAC’s existing infrastructure, including access control systems, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and enforcement mechanisms. This unified operating model is designed to ensure consistency, reliability and scalability across all sites.
Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, said: “This five-year partnership with DAMAC is a strong endorsement of Parkin’s three decades of expertise in technology, operations and enforcement. It reflects the value we deliver to partners and developers by applying our proven capabilities to some of the UAE’s most best-known communities. We are creating seamless, convenient parking solutions tailored to the needs of residents, visitors and tenants. In addition, expanding into Abu Dhabi marks a milestone in our growth strategy, as we extend our reach beyond Dubai. Together with DAMAC, we aim to set new benchmarks in customer experience, operational efficiency, and smart mobility across the UAE.”
