DUBAI, UAE – Parkin Company PJSC, Dubai’s leading provider of paid public parking facilities and services, has signed a strategic partnership with SP Corporation Car Parking Management LLC (Secure Parking) to accelerate the rollout of barrierless parking solutions across the UAE.

The agreement brings together Parkin’s scale in Dubai’s regulated parking market and Secure Parking’s international operational experience, building on the successful implementation of a fully integrated barrierless parking system at City Walk in Dubai.

Following the performance of the City Walk deployment, the two companies have identified a potential pipeline of more than 60,000 parking spaces across the UAE for future collaboration. The scale of the opportunity reflects rising demand for more efficient, technology-enabled parking solutions and positions the alliance among the region’s most significant barrierless parking expansion initiatives currently in progress.

Combining local scale with international operational expertise

Parkin currently manages approximately 229,000 paid parking spaces in Dubai under a long-term concession agreement and processed more than 70 million transactions in the first half of 2025 alone. The platform’s scale reflects both the continued pace of urban growth in Dubai and the broader shift toward digitally enabled mobility infrastructure.

Secure Parking, which manages more than 1.2 million parking spaces across 13 countries, brings over 20 years of operating experience in the UAE, supported by a portfolio spanning a number of the country’s high-profile destinations. Through the partnership, Parkin’s digital platform, regulatory integration and market reach will be combined with Secure Parking’s expertise in next-generation barrierless parking operations.

Together, the two companies are positioning themselves to play a larger role in the UAE’s smart mobility transition, particularly as cities place greater emphasis on efficient, technology-led infrastructure and seamless customer journeys.

City Walk showcases the operating model

The implementation at City Walk marks a key milestone in Parkin’s broader transition toward fully digital, barrierless parking infrastructure. The system replaces traditional gated access with vehicle recognition technology and integrated remote payment, removing physical bottlenecks and streamlining entry and exit for motorists.

Through the Parkin platform, users receive real-time confirmations, clear tariff visibility and SMS notifications, supported by a structured grace period for payment. As a major urban destination, City Walk serves as a practical demonstration of how scalable, digitally enabled parking infrastructure can improve traffic movement, enhance customer convenience and maintain transparency and compliance in a dense city environment.

Partnership to extend into valet services

Beyond self-parking, the partnership will also expand into the valet segment, creating a broader digital ecosystem that links standard parking and premium parking services within a unified platform.

Customers will be able to pay for Secure Parking valet services through the Parkin app and digital wallet, enabling seamless payments through the existing Parkin ecosystem. Secure Parking will also manage and operate selected Parkin-branded valet locations, drawing on its established UAE presence and international standards to support service quality, consistency and operational performance.

By integrating valet services into the same payment platform, the two companies are moving toward a more connected parking experience, from entry through to premium service, underpinned by real-time payments, digital transparency and operational efficiency. The move further strengthens the partnership’s standing as one of the UAE’s more comprehensive public-private smart mobility collaborations.

Speaking on the partnership, Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, said:“By partnering with Secure Parking, we are bringing together the scale and sophistication of Dubai’s most advanced digital parking platform with proven global operational expertise. This collaboration accelerates our transition toward fully barrierless infrastructure and positions Parkin at the forefront of smart mobility innovation in the UAE. It is a clear step toward creating a scalable framework that supports the country’s smart city vision and sets a new benchmark for urban parking infrastructure.”

Dr. Navin Valrani, Group Managing Director of Al Shirawi Group and CEO of Secure Parking UAE, added: _“Barrierless parking is quickly becoming essential urban infrastructure, not just a convenience feature. With Parkin, we have an opportunity to set a new benchmark for how digital mobility services are delivered at scale across the UAE, and deliver value for customers.

Barrierless parking is increasingly viewed as a foundational layer of smart city infrastructure, enabling real-time analytics, dynamic allocation and cross-network interoperability.

Through this partnership, Parkin’s digital platform capability will combine with Secure Parking’s global operational experience to create a scalable framework for public-private parking integration across the UAE.”_
