Modon Holding and Nammos Hotels & Resorts bring Nammos Ras El Hekma to Egypt’s North Coast. Image: SuppliedRAS EL HEKMA, EGYPT – Abu Dhabi-based Modon Holding has partnered with Nammos Hotels & Resorts to launch Nammos Ras El Hekma, the hospitality brand's first fully integrated destination in Egypt.
Located within the Wadi Yemm precinct, the development will combine Nammos Residences, Nammos Resort, Nammos Village, and a curated collection of dining, wellness and leisure experiences, including the globally recognised Nammos Restaurant & Beach Club.
Designed to reflect the character of Egypt's North Coast and the Mediterranean lifestyle synonymous with the Nammos brand, the destination brings together architecture, landscape, art and hospitality within a single waterfront community.
Nammos Residences will comprise 72 one to four-bedroom apartments and a penthouse, while Nammos Resort will feature 79 hotel keys across five accommodation categories, including junior suites, one and two-bedroom suites, presidential suites and celebration suites.
Residents and guests will have access to a range of hospitality, wellness, retail and leisure amenities, creating an integrated lifestyle offering within the emerging city of Ras El Hekma.
At the centre of the development, Nammos Village will introduce a Mediterranean-inspired retail concept designed around shopping, wellness, art and hospitality. Additional amenities will include a wellness and fitness centre, spa, swimming pools, cabanas, children's club, private dining venues and direct access to the destination's hospitality experiences.
A signature attraction will be the Nammos Restaurant & Beach Club, inspired by natural coastal cave formations. The venue will combine beachfront dining, private cabanas, pools, sunbeds and direct beach access.
Architecturally, the project draws inspiration from Mediterranean and Cycladic design traditions, incorporating arched forms, sculpted architecture, limewashed finishes, natural materials and seamless indoor-outdoor living.
Bill O'Regan, Group CEO of Modon Holding, said: “Ras El Hekma is fast emerging as one of the Mediterranean’s most ambitious destinations, and the progress we have made to date reflects the scale of our long-term vision. With Wadi Yemm now in delivery and a growing collection of globally recognised brands choosing to be part of the destination, we are building a vibrant, year-round city designed to deliver world-class living, leisure and investment for generations to come. Nammos Ras El Hekma is a natural extension of that vision, introducing a distinctive lifestyle offering that further enhances the destination’s appeal to residents, visitors and investors alike.”
Petros Stathis, Chairman of Nammos, said: “The launch of Nammos Ras El Hekma marks an important milestone in our global growth strategy. Egypt’s North Coast is rapidly establishing itself as a world-class destination, and Ras El Hekma provides an exceptional platform for the continued expansion of the Nammos brand.”
Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, said: “Nammos Ras El Hekma has been designed as a place where hospitality, residences and lifestyle come together in a seamless and authentic way. Inspired by the energy, elegance and spirit that have defined Nammos for more than two decades, the destination will create exceptional experiences that connect people and celebrate life.”
Nammos Ras El Hekma forms part of the $35 billion Ras El Hekma masterplan, a 170.8 million sq m development that aims to transform Egypt's North Coast into a next-generation city expected to attract $110 billion in investment by 2045.
Wadi Yemm is the first of Ras El Hekma's 17 precincts to enter the delivery phase and will also feature a collection of cultural landmarks that will contribute to the identity of the wider destination.
Designed for year-round living and tourism, Ras El Hekma will be connected by road, sea and air, placing it within a four-hour flight of nearly half the world's population. The masterplan includes a new international airport, high-speed rail links, major highways, marinas and a dedicated cruise terminal.
Stretching across 44 kilometres of Mediterranean coastline, the development will incorporate hospitality, leisure, residential, education, cultural and mixed-use districts, anchored by a central business and financial district.
