Meraas and Nakheel have introduced a dedicated Golden Visa facilitation service for eligible property investors across their portfolio. Image: MeraasDUBAI, UAE – Dubai Holding Real Estate has launched a dedicated Golden Visa and investor residency facilitation service at the Meraas and Nakheel sales centre, offering eligible property investors a more streamlined ownership journey across its residential portfolio.
The new service integrates residency guidance directly into the property sales process, enabling customers to receive in-person support on eligibility requirements, documentation and application procedures at the same location where they purchase their property.
Applications will be processed by an accredited visa service provider, with Meraas and Nakheel acting solely as facilitators throughout the process.
The initiative covers key residency pathways available to qualifying property investors, including the UAE's 10-year Golden Visa for investors owning property, or a portfolio of properties, valued at $544,500 (AED2 million) or more, subject to applicable conditions and approval by the relevant authorities.
The service also supports customers seeking other investor residency options available to eligible property owners in Dubai.
By incorporating residency facilitation into the sales centre experience, Dubai Holding Real Estate aims to simplify the ownership journey by providing investors with clearer guidance during one of the most important stages of the purchasing process. The service will also be available to existing customers and is intended to support sales teams and brokers through a more coordinated approach while enhancing the overall customer experience across the company's portfolio.

Khalid Al Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said:
“Dubai is one of the world’s most attractive destinations to live, invest and build a future. By integrating the Golden Visa and investor residency process into the property ownership journey, we are empowering our customers with greater clarity and confidence as they choose their home. This service reflects our commitment to making the ownership experience across our portfolio simpler, more seamless and aligned with the long-term opportunities Dubai offers.”
The initiative supports Dubai's broader ambition to strengthen its position as a global destination for investment, talent and long-term residency. It also aligns with the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033, which aims to increase homeownership rates to 33%, double the sector's contribution to Dubai's GDP to approximately $19.9 billion (AED73 billion) and increase real estate transactions by 70%.
Under the UAE's Golden Visa programme, eligible applicants are granted long-term renewable residency and may sponsor family members, subject to approval by the relevant authorities. According to the Dubai Land Department, qualifying real estate investors owning property valued at AED2 million or more are eligible to apply for a 10-year renewable residence permit.
Dubai Holding Real Estate emphasised that the new offering operates strictly as a facilitation service, connecting customers with accredited residency specialists. All eligibility requirements, documentation, government fees and approvals remain subject to the applicable regulations and the relevant UAE authorities.
