Private residential properties led Kuwait's real estate market activity during the week of June 7–11, accounting for 97 transactions worth $332.1 million.KUWAIT CITY, KUWAIT – Kuwait's real estate market recorded 134 property transactions valued at approximately $439.8 million (KD106 million) during the week of June 7–11, according to data released by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice.
The figures highlight continued activity across the country's residential, investment and commercial property sectors, with private residential assets accounting for the largest share of transaction volume and value.
According to the ministry's statistics, private property transactions led the market with 97 contracts worth $332.1 million (KD80 million). Investment properties followed with 31 contracts valued at $68.5 million (KD16.5 million).
Commercial assets accounted for three transactions worth $29.1 million (KD7 million), while one coastal strip property transaction was recorded with a value of approximately $6.7 million (KD1.6 million).
At the governorate level, the Capital Governorate registered nine private property contracts and one investment property transaction during the reporting period.
In Hawally Governorate, activity included 13 private property contracts alongside 12 investment property transactions, reflecting continued demand across both residential and investment segments.
Farwaniya Governorate recorded eight private property transactions, one investment property deal and two commercial property contracts.
Meanwhile, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate registered 12 private property transactions and two investment property deals.
Ahmadi Governorate emerged as the most active market during the week, recording 45 private property transactions and 15 investment property contracts. The governorate also registered one commercial property transaction and one craft property contract.
The latest figures underscore the resilience of Kuwait's real estate market, with private residential properties continuing to drive transaction activity while investment and commercial assets maintain a steady contribution to overall market performance.
