EMSTEEL Supplies Core Materials for Zayed National Museum

Abu Dhabi, UAE: EMSTEEL has confirmed its pivotal contribution to the construction of the Zayed National Museum, one of the UAE’s most significant new cultural landmarks, located in Saadiyat Cultural District. The museum was officially inaugurated by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the presence of Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, as part of the nation’s celebrations marking the 54th Eid Al Etihad.

The Zayed National Museum stands as a powerful tribute to the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, celebrating his enduring vision for unity, heritage and national progress. Designed to serve as a cornerstone of Abu Dhabi’s cultural narrative, the museum reflects the UAE’s ambition to preserve its history while shaping a forward-looking global cultural identity.

Throughout the multi-year construction phase, EMSTEEL played a critical role in delivering the project’s structural foundation. Over a three-year period, the group supplied approximately 24,000 tonnes of reinforcing steel, up to 25,000 direct block units, and nearly 100,000 tonnes of bulk cement. These materials formed the backbone of the museum’s core structure, supporting both its architectural complexity and long-term durability.
