Dubai, UAE: Dubai Holding has announced the acquisition of the five-star Jumeirah Mallorca, strengthening its luxury hospitality footprint across Europe and reinforcing its long-term international growth strategy.

The resort, which has been successfully operated under the Jumeirah brand for several years, will continue to be managed by Jumeirah, Dubai Holding’s flagship hospitality brand and global luxury hotel operator.

Prime Mediterranean location

Situated on the northwest coast of Mallorca, Jumeirah Mallorca is a premier luxury retreat comprising 121 rooms and suites. The property is set against dramatic coastal cliffs, offering uninterrupted panoramic views across the Mediterranean Sea and the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana.

The resort’s location combines natural seclusion with accessibility, positioning it as a sought-after destination for high-end leisure travellers seeking privacy, wellness, and immersive destination experiences.

Sustainability-led luxury hospitality

Jumeirah Mallorca holds the prestigious LEED Platinum certification, reflecting its strong sustainability credentials and commitment to responsible environmental performance. The certification underscores the property’s alignment with Dubai Holding’s wider focus on sustainable operations and future-ready asset management across its global portfolio.

Investment to elevate flagship positioning

Dubai Holding confirmed plans to invest further in enhancing the hotel’s product offering, with the ambition of positioning Jumeirah Mallorca as one of the brand’s flagship destinations within the broader Mediterranean market.

These enhancements will support the group’s strategy of delivering differentiated, high-quality luxury experiences in established leisure destinations, while strengthening brand consistency across international markets.

This disciplined approach supports the group’s long-term objective of building a diversified, resilient, and future-ready international portfolio.

Amit Kaushal, Group CEO at Dubai Holding, said:

This acquisition represents a strategic addition to our growing global hospitality portfolio and underscores our commitment to invest in high-quality assets that enhance long-term value for Dubai Holding. Growing international hospitality footprint

Strengthening Jumeirah’s European presence

The acquisition further reinforces Jumeirah’s position within Europe’s leading leisure and gateway markets. Alongside existing properties in London and Capri, and the upcoming opening of Jumeirah Le Richemond Geneva in Switzerland, the brand continues to deepen its European footprint.

This expansion supports Jumeirah’s long-term ambition to become one of the world’s most influential luxury hospitality brands, with a balanced presence across urban and resort destinations globally.
