The collaboration brings together Cavendish Maxwell’s expertise in valuation, development advisory and building consultancy with IREP’s capabilities in integrated facilities management, operational performance and asset optimisation. The partnership is designed to deliver a more cohesive approach to asset management, addressing long-standing inefficiencies created by fragmented service models.
As real estate portfolios become increasingly complex, asset owners are facing challenges in aligning advisory, development and operational functions. Traditionally, these components have been managed separately, often resulting in inefficiencies, reduced transparency and suboptimal performance outcomes.
The Cavendish Maxwell–IREP partnership seeks to address this disconnect by introducing a unified framework that integrates strategic planning with operational execution. By embedding operational considerations into early-stage advisory and development processes, the partnership aims to enable more informed decision-making and improved long-term asset performance.
Nick Witty, Group Chief Executive Officer, Cavendish Maxwell, said:
With demand for integrated, lifecycle-driven asset strategies on the increase, we are delighted to join forces with IREP as part of our continued growth strategy and commitment to further enhancing the services we provide to customers. Today’s complex portfolios need alignment across the entire asset lifecycle. By integrating operational considerations into early-stage advisory and development planning enables, we enable our clients to make better-informed decisions – with greater confidence – knowing that operational realities are embedded from the outset.
The partnership will provide coordinated advisory and operational solutions tailored to asset owners, government entities, master developers and institutional investors. These stakeholders are increasingly seeking solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk and ensure sustainable asset performance across large and diverse portfolios.
Kenny McCrae, Chairman & CEO, IREP added:
Too often, asset strategies are developed in isolation from the realities of day-to-day operations. This partnership is about changing that. By bringing together Cavendish Maxwell’s advisory expertise with IREP’s operational experience, we are creating a partnership that ensures strategic decisions translate into measurable performance on the ground. Our goal is simple: to help asset owners make decisions that not only look right on paper but deliver long-term value in practice.
Initially focused on the Middle East and Africa, the partnership will support organisations managing complex, mission-critical or multi-asset environments. The combined offering is expected to deliver:
The initiative reflects a broader shift in the real estate sector towards lifecycle-driven asset management, where strategic planning, operational execution and long-term performance are increasingly viewed as interconnected components of value creation.
