DUBAI, UAE - Bayut has become the first UAE-based real estate platform to launch an application on ChatGPT, introducing a new AI-powered property discovery experience that enables users to search for homes through natural language conversations.

The launch marks a significant milestone for both the UAE’s proptech sector and the broader adoption of artificial intelligence within real estate, allowing users to search for properties by simply describing their preferences rather than relying on traditional filters and search forms.

Through the Bayut App on ChatGPT, users can discover listings by specifying criteria such as location, budget, property type, size, or number of bedrooms in a conversational format. The experience is designed to make property discovery more intuitive for buyers, tenants, and casual browsers by integrating search directly into environments where users are already asking questions, comparing options, and making decisions.

Commenting on the launch, Haider Khan, CEO of Bayut and dubizzle, said: “At Bayut, we have always viewed innovation as a way to solve real user problems and create more efficient property journeys. Search behavior is evolving, and people are increasingly using AI-powered platforms to ask questions, explore options and make decisions. With the Bayut App on ChatGPT, we are making it easier for users to search for properties in a way that feels natural, intuitive and aligned with how they discover information today.”

The launch reflects the growing role of conversational AI in transforming how consumers access information and interact with digital services.

Apps on ChatGPT are subject to OpenAI’s submission and approval process, which evaluates applications based on real-world utility, user experience, and practical value. Bayut’s acceptance highlights property search as a strong use case for conversational AI and reinforces the platform’s position within the global proptech ecosystem.

For Bayut, the development represents more than the introduction of a new product. It reflects the company's broader commitment to integrating advanced technologies into the real estate experience while creating more accessible pathways for users to discover properties.

The launch also positions Bayut among a growing group of companies leveraging AI-driven discovery tools to enhance customer engagement and simplify complex decision-making processes.

Supporting the UAE’s AI Ambitions

The move aligns with the UAE’s wider ambitions to become a global leader in artificial intelligence and digital innovation.

Khan added: “As a UAE-born platform, we are also proud to contribute to the country’s forward-looking AI agenda. The UAE has created an environment where technology, innovation and ambition can thrive, and this launch is another step in bringing practical AI-led experiences into everyday sectors such as real estate.”

As AI adoption continues to accelerate across industries, Bayut’s latest initiative demonstrates how practical AI applications can be integrated into everyday consumer experiences, helping users navigate the property market more efficiently.

New Discovery Channel for Real Estate Listings

Beyond the consumer experience, the launch also creates an additional discovery channel for real estate professionals and property advertisers.

Listings available on Bayut can now be surfaced within emerging AI-powered search environments, providing agents, developers, and property owners with new opportunities to reach prospective buyers and tenants through conversational interfaces.

The company believes this will further strengthen visibility for property listings while supporting partners through technology-led innovation and enhanced digital reach.

Available globally across desktop web, mobile browsers, and the ChatGPT mobile application, the Bayut App supports both light and dark mode interfaces, ensuring accessibility across multiple platforms and user preferences.

The launch further reinforces Bayut’s strategy of leveraging technology to make property discovery more transparent, intelligent, and user-friendly while strengthening its position as one of the UAE’s leading digital real estate platforms.
