Image: AradaSHARJAH, UAE – Arada has commenced the handover of homes at Vida Residences Aljada, marking the completion of the four-building Vida Aljada complex and the arrival of the first residents at one of Sharjah’s most prominent lifestyle destinations.
The development represents the emirate’s first branded residences project and forms part of the broader $9.5 billion (AED35 billion) Aljada megaproject, reinforcing Sharjah’s growing appeal as a destination for integrated, lifestyle-driven communities.
Located on East Boulevard in the Naseej District, the creative core of Aljada, Vida Residences Aljada combines residential, hospitality, and retail components within a single, connected environment.
The completed development includes 579 units, comprising 255 branded residences, 149 serviced apartments, and the upcoming 175-room Vida Aljada Sharjah hotel, developed in partnership with Emaar Hospitality Group.
With this milestone, the total number of completed homes at Aljada has surpassed 8,800 units, reflecting steady progress across the master development.
The residential buildings offer a range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, along with three four-bedroom penthouses, designed in line with Vida’s contemporary lifestyle philosophy.
The development emphasises open, light-filled interiors and seamless transitions between private and communal spaces, supporting a modern approach to urban living.
Residents benefit from a range of amenities including fitness and wellness facilities, swimming pools for adults and children, and shared spaces designed to encourage both social interaction and quiet relaxation.
Smart home features are integrated throughout, providing a streamlined and intuitive living experience.
The complex will also host a curated selection of dining outlets, cafés, studios, and boutique retail spaces, further enhancing the lifestyle offering on East Boulevard.
These additions will complement the existing mix of more than 100 dining and retail outlets within the district, contributing to the creation of a vibrant, mixed-use destination for residents and visitors.
Serviced apartments and branded residences within the development include 24/7 concierge support, bellman services, and ongoing maintenance systems, reinforcing a hospitality-led residential experience.
Group CEO Ahmed Alkhoshaibi said:
We are committed to delivering 4,000 homes as well as key supporting infrastructure across our communities this year, and the handover of Sharjah’s first ever branded residences scheme is an important part of that journey. Vida Residences Aljada are the most premium homes completed so far in our flagship megaproject, and these units have already delivered significant capital appreciation to our buyers.
"In Emaar Hospitality, we have a partner that is totally aligned with our vision of quality, service and efficiency and we look forward to working with them as we near the opening of the Vida Aljada Sharjah hotel in the coming months," he stated.
The completion of Vida Residences Aljada marks a key step in Arada’s broader development strategy, as the company continues to deliver large-scale, integrated communities across the UAE.
The project highlights a growing trend toward branded residences and lifestyle-led developments in Sharjah, positioning the emirate as an increasingly competitive alternative within the UAE’s real estate market.
