Abu Dhabi, UAE: Aldar has announced the addition of several strategic land plots across Abu Dhabi, adding approximately USD 6.26 billion (AED 23 billion) in gross development value to its portfolio. The move further strengthens Aldar’s strategic landbank and provides a robust pipeline to support sustained long-term growth across the capital’s key development corridors.

The newly secured sites span more than 2.3 million square metres and are expected to deliver around 3,000 new homes across prime locations on Saadiyat Island, Yas Island, and areas adjacent to Yas Island. Collectively, the plots offer significant flexibility, enabling Aldar to deliver a broad mix of residential products tailored to evolving demand patterns and long-term population growth in Abu Dhabi.

Development of the sites will be undertaken through a phased launch strategy aligned with market conditions, with the first projects expected to be brought to market from 2026 onwards. This disciplined approach is intended to support resilient absorption rates, improve visibility on medium- to long-term revenue and earnings growth, and provide flexibility across market cycles.

The land plots will be activated through a joint venture structure with an established partner, supporting efficient capital deployment while allowing Aldar to retain responsibility for the full development, sales, and delivery lifecycle of the projects.
