Al Ghurair Breaks Ground on The Weave Residential Project in JVC

Dubai, UAE: Al Ghurair Development, the freehold real estate arm of the UAE-based Al Ghurair Group, has officially broken ground on The Weave, a premium residential development located in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), marking a major construction milestone for the project.

The groundbreaking follows the successful sell-out of the development’s first release and signals the transition from planning to on-site execution. The move underscores growing buyer confidence in design-driven residential offerings within well-connected Dubai communities.

As construction progresses, Al Ghurair Development has appointed Turner & Townsend as Project Management Consultant, entrusting the global professional services firm with overseeing delivery and construction management. Turner & Townsend brings extensive regional experience across complex real estate developments and will support the project’s quality, efficiency and execution standards.

The Weave is the first project under Al Ghurair Development’s premium residential portfolio and is scheduled for completion in 2028. The development comprises 130 one-, two- and three-bedroom plus residences, with unit sizes ranging from approximately 700 to 2,200 square feet. Prices start from $326,700 (AED 1.2 million).

Designed in collaboration with award-winning Australian architect Joe Adsett, the project emphasizes contemporary architecture and curated living environments. Residents will have access to a dedicated rooftop club featuring wellness facilities, barbecue and dining areas, an infinity pool, a private cinema, and social spaces designed to encourage community interaction.

Strategically located on the fringe of Jumeirah Village Circle, The Weave offers proximity to Circle Mall, with convenient access to Al Khail Road and Hessa Street, providing strong connectivity to Dubai’s key business districts as well as both international airports.

Al Ghurair Development confirmed that The Weave forms part of a broader residential expansion strategy, with additional premium developments planned near Al Barari, The Wilds, and Dubai South, all scheduled for launch from 2026 onwards.
